Save Alert! Hair Accessories

Hair accessories can get quite pricey these days. Places like the dollar store can really maximize your dollar. I have found tons of headbands, clips and even off brand bumpits. I have also found a few gems at big lots. I highly recommend the dollar store for bobby pins, head bands and clips. So cheap and they work just fine.

Review

The marketing for these two is so great that I tried them both. Plus The orange one (lash blast) has awesome reviews. The purple (lash blast fusion) claims to be lengthening and volumizing. The orange covergirl mascara is one of the best on the market and I have tried most of them in hopes of turning my barely there eyelashes into ones that look like a girl in a Dior ad. The purple version left a lot to be desired. In short just buy the orange one.

I found these at the dollar store and bought a few. They are perfect for a few 3 or 4 wears and are only a DOLLAR! So its perfect. I would only wear these for a really special occasion like a super fancy wedding or a big night out on the town.

Most of this line is only a dollar so of course a cheapskate like me is going to try it, and then let you know what I think. The eyeshadow wears off quick and has bad color payoff. It might be the colors that I selected so if you have a specific quad that you like let us all know. The liquid eyeliner is actually really good doesn't last all day cause I have oily skin. Throw a little powder on your lids and it'll wear all day.

I am SO obsessed with this lately, FREE radio at your house and its like owning a million CD's with bands that you have never heard of but will be your new favorites! I listen to it in my car too. I have an app on my phone but you can always just do it on your computer ( i never have) and you can thumbs up and thumbs down songs and eventually Pandora will start getting a feel for your musical tastes and play stuff you like for hours. Did I mention its FREE??

Resolution Time

Starting today I am going on a "NO BUY" for clothing. For me this means I will not be clothes shopping any time soon. I have more than enough clothes and anything that I may find I need will be purchased at a thrift store.  The only exception will be in the event that I need a wedding dress or funeral outfit. Neither of these things I plan on happening or would have something to wear to. I will say that my "NO BUY" will end on June 1st. That is 6 months. I do have one built in cheat item. Leggings: My only black pair is a few washings away from a hole in the butt. They will need to be replaced when they go on sale @ target. That's it:) What are all of your new years resolutions?

Splurge or Save: MAC 109 vs Sonia Kashuk

Some people compare the 2 of these brushes and I was dying to figure out if this would be a cheaper alternative. First off both brushes are made very well and I highly recommend both lines of makeup brushes. Do i think MAC has a tendency to overprice their brushes, of course. But after all they are a higher end brand. That being said their is no alternative to the MAC 109. Its my favorite Hands down and I have never been able to find a replacement. please let me know if you have or what you use your Sonia Kashuk brush for! Final Verdict: Splurge!
